Sono rimasto sbigottito dalla location che ha il fascino retrò dell’ archeologia industriale. Infatti, proprio a Luglio, a Napoli, sono stato invitato in una struttura simile. Trovo che De Meesterproef sia molto più suggestivo: un’ ampia cucina a vista, una sala interna stile industrial, una terrazza con panorama sul Reno. Certo, noi sul panorama vinciamo su tutti. Peccato che in questi anni sono sorti moltissimi locali che causano un caos tale di traffico che mi porta ad evitarli assolutamente nel weekend. Durante la settimana si riesce a godere della vista e di un po’ di pace. Ma ritorniamo in Olanda: ottimo il servizio: sempre gentili e disponibili. Il maitre, un giovanotto molto garbato ed affabile: sono rimasto colpito sia dalla sua simpatia che dalla sua austerità. Ottimo cibo ma anche ottimo vino. Giusta la scelta di prodotti biologici. Dovremmo prendere esempio. Nulla da eccepire se non per il fatto che ho avuto difficoltà nel trovare il ristorante perché non vi sono indicazioni. In questo paese, lo Stato incentiva coloro che fanno investimenti del genere: meno tasse e affitti bassissimi. Come al solito dobbiamo imparare dagli altri come rivalutare le nostre ricchezze.
