Ristorante Veritas Napoli

Una calda accoglienza ho ricevuto al ristorante Veritas, specialmente dallo Chef Gianluca D’Agostino che ritengo un uomo di una grande semplicità ed umiltà. Infatti non appena sono entrato, dopo che gentilmente mi hanno aperto l’ uscio, lui era lì. Sono quei piccoli gesti che ti fanno sentire speciali. L’ambiente è sempre caldo e accogliente. Gli elementi che arricchiscono la sala sono particolarmente originali. Il servizio è eccellente. Gli intermezzi tra le varie portate avevano la stessa importanza dei piatti principali. Meticolosamente studiati. Piccoli scrigni di raffinati sapori. La pasta, la ricciola all’acqua pazza con tapioca e nocciole fino al dessert mi hanno deliziato. Sono stato ben consigliato sulla scelta del vino dal sommelier ed il maitre è molto attento. Prima di andare via lo Chef è venuto a salutarci: un gesto che mi ha colpito e mi ha fatto capire che grande persona sia.

A warm welcome I received at the Veritas restaurant, especially by Chef Gianluca D’Agostino, who I consider a man of great simplicity and humility. In fact as soon as I entered, after they kindly opened the door, he was there. It’s those little gestures that make you feel special. The environment is always warm and welcoming. The elements that enrich the hall are particularly original. The service is excellent. The intermezzo between the various courses had the same importance of the main dishes. Meticulously studied. Small caskets of refined flavors. The pasta, the amberjack in crazy water with tapioca and hazelnuts up to dessert, have delighted me. I was well advised on the wine selection by the sommelier and the maitre is very attentive. Before leaving the Chef came to greet us: a gesture that struck me and made me realize what a great person it is.

Quando parliamo di lifestyle, stiamo parlando di tutto ciò che di bello ci circonda. Ciò che è piacevole agli occhi, al palato e tutto ciò che ci fa star bene.

Avevo 17 anni e leggevo Vogue Uomo ed a quell’epoca la moda italiana era all’apice del suo successo. Oggi, 37 anni dopo, la moda ha perso un po’ di quel suo smalto, lasciando spazio a negozi, outlet e grandi magazzini più commerciali. A pochi metri da piazza dei Martiri. Esattamente all’ angolo tra via Domenico Morelli e via Vannella Gaetani. Il negozio si chiama Pietrarsa a Napoli dal 1950 ed è gestito da Nino Magni. Qui ho trovato quelle caratteristiche ormai perse: gentilezza , cortesia, disponibilità. Pochi sanno fare oggi il proprio mestiere e proporsi alla gente indelicatamente, non è il massimo della vita.

Per questo motivo io consiglio sempre di saper scegliere il meglio per noi stessi.

Andate a misurarvi una camicia da Pietrarsa: rimarrete stupiti dall’assortimento ma anche dall’ affabilità e sensibilità di Nino. Non uscirete a mani vuote.
