È stata una domenica un po’ nuvolosa ma la giornata è iniziata a risplendere quando mi sono trovato nel ristorante situato all’ultimo piano di questa struttura: bianco e luce è stata la prima impressione. La terrazza esterna è a dir poco favolosa, ideale non solo per mangiare ma anche per l’aperitivo. Bisogna dire che il ristorante è solo l’apice di questa importante struttura che si suddivide in Ostello, B&B ed Hotel: un’idea molto intelligente per fare business anche perché la posizione è favorevole e le camere di ciascuna delle situazioni sono ben rifinite. Ma torniamo alla Terrazza del Re: di noi si è preso cura Mattia Anatrella già Bartender del Sancta Sanctorum nonché del ristorante 3 Piani, quindi persona da me conosciuta non solo per la sua bravura ma anche per la sua professionalità e dotato di enorme pazienza. I suoi consigli sono stato molto apprezzati, in particolar modo sulla scelta del vino. I piatti suggeriti sono stati graditi: la genovese fujuta, la pasta grossa e patate nonché il risotto: tutto superlativo. Per la presentazione dei piatti lo chef ha ancora un po’ di strada da fare, ma sulla qualità nulla da eccepire. L’ atmosfera è stata perfetta e tutto ciò che ho gustato è stato anche apprezzato dal mio ospite il quale mi ha fatto richiesta di poter tornare ancora, infatti, la prossima volta , sperando che il tempo sia migliore inizieremo dall’ aperitivo su questa panoramica Terrazza del Re.
It was a little cloudy Sunday but the day started to shine when I found myself in the restaurant on the top floor of this structure: white and light was the first impression. The outdoor terrace is nothing short of fabulous, ideal not only for eating but also for an aperitif. It must be said that the restaurant is only the pinnacle of this important structure that is divided into Hostel, B & B and Hotel: a very smart idea to do business because the location is favorable and the rooms of each of the situations are well finished. But let’s go back to the King’s Terrace: Mattia Anatrella, formerly Bartender of the Sancta Sanctorum and of the 3 Piani restaurant, took care of us, therefore a person known to me not only for his skill but also for his professionalism and great patience. His advice was much appreciated, especially on the choice of wine. Suggested dishes were appreciated: the genovese fujuta, the thick pasta and potatoes as well as the risotto: all superlative. For the presentation of the dishes the chef still has some way to go, but on the quality nothing to complain. The atmosphere was perfect and everything I enjoyed was also appreciated by my guest who asked me to come back again, in fact, the next time, hoping that the weather is better we will start with an aperitif on this panoramic terrace King’s.
